FAQ
Upon completion of Recruitment Academy’s Induction course, am I guaranteed employment within the recruitment industry?
Recruitment Academy does not guarantee employment but we do know that the industry recognises our course and is always keen to meet with candidates who have taken the initiative to complete a four-day course and on completion are still keen to consider a career in recruitment.Do I receive a certificate upon completion?
Yes. And by completing Recruitment Academy’s four-day course you will also attract 20 points towards the industry’s official Accreditation Program (MRCSA). Completing Recruitment Academy’s online course “e-nduction” attracts 25 points.Where is the best place to search for jobs in the recruitment industry?
Recruitment Academy has launched the only career site targeted exclusively to recruiters called Recruit Me Now . This career site only speaks to the industry and is a great place to either create a profile and post yourself as a contractor or apply to the hundreds of industry jobs advertised on the site.A lot of the content seems very sales focused. Do I need to be good at sales to be successful as a recruiter?
Absolutely. If you are not comfortable with sales or working within an activity-based, results-driven or target-centric environment we would say that it is unlikely you will succeed as a recruiter. With regards to Recruitment Academy’s public courses, can we choose to send our new recruiters to one, two or three of the days instead of all four days?
Of course. Our registration forms clearly articulate this as an option. If we are interested in Recruitment Academy’s products how do we enquire about pricing?
Within the “contact us” area on our website please specify the nature of your enquiry and one of our Directors will be in contact with you.Have all Recruitment Academy’s course facilitators actually worked in the recruitment industry themselves?
One of the key criteria to become a facilitator with Recruitment Academy is to have run a successful temp or perm desk and also to have a proven background in actually having trained recruitment consultants. Are the courses “lecture based” or interactive?
We certainly don’t believe in death by Powerpoint. The workshops are extremely interactive as well as being highly educational. You certainly won’t be bored. The courses sound perfect – but I really don’t feel comfortable sending new consultants to sit amongst “the competition”.
This we totally appreciate. Which is why, as an alternative to the public induction courses, we are happy to tailor an induction program and run it specifically for your new starters … even in the convenience of your office. The courses look terrific for new recruitment consultants. Does Recruitment Academy facilitate courses for more experienced recruiters?
In a word … absolutely. We are able to deliver training courses for new recruiters, more experienced recruiters and even branch managers.
